Not much to post, about the trip, being that I left at 1:00pm today and arrived at my friend Kian’s place in CT around 2:15pm. But on my way here a Bee Flew into my helmet gave me a quick scare, and I had to pull over and get him out. Thouhght I’d give you the up to dates craziness.
I did want to take this moment to recognize three awesome people in my life. I recently saw someone who is equally, if not more so gifted then me, almost snubbing the people who got her there. Pay homage to those who have been there who have gotten you to where you need to be, because when the world knocks you of your feet it definitely takes pressure off the fall, knowing you have someone there to catch you.
I have Gusto, Balls, Guts whatever you want to call it, which has given me the gull to take this trip, but my family, who have stood not behind me but beside me during the best and worst of times have gotten me to this point. Fortitude, Patience, and Tenacity are just a few of the virtues I have gotten from having Mom, Dad, and My younger brother in my life. THANK YOU. For everything to changing my diapers, to understanding about getting written up three times my freshman year in college due to alcohol, and for understanding why I have chosen to and gain this great life experience. THANK YOU.
It’s a simple two word phrase that for some reason has been often over looked by people from time to time. You know what if you forget you forget but it is never too late to thank someone. So when you do remember Just say it. High school and College Graduates, those entering the work force for the first time. Look to those who have gotten you there and thank them. It may not be your immediate family, could be a friend, distant relative, teacher even the stranger who took a chance on you when no one else would. Whoever it may be just thank them, because they are just as proud of your accomplishments as you are. Let them know again and again that you appreciate their help. No one does it alone.
One Mile at a time.
