Hands Up!

Cedar Point was a great experience. I can’t believe how many coasters there were, it was off the charts. I was a little disappointed when I found out the Kingda Ka was higher and faster than the Dragster but it was still an insane ride. At 420 feet high and 120 plus MPH the Top Thrill Dragster will make you feel like an astronaut blasting off into space. But it’s alright Houston there were no problems here and I’m back on solid ground. I got excited because they have one of those Log Rides and it looked like the amusement park in the Step by Step theme song when the parents get soaked (it’s funny how I’m old enough now to date myself). I checked it out though and it’s not the same place. The show was set in Wisconsin.

Side Note: What ever happened to the cool intro theme songs with the cool related music and clips of everyone in the show? Like Family Matters, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Power Rangers, even Wonder Years (such a classic). I don’t know where they went but we need to bring back the catchy Jingle and intro video.

The theme song was actually filmed in California at Six Flags Magic Mountain. I think I may be on a personal mission to check it out. I was at Cedar Point from 1pm to 8pm it was a LONG day with miles and miles of walking.

I decided to chill solo. I could have probably hung out with a group of people for a bit but didn’t. It was a perfect people watching day. If you haven’t tried it its simple and fun, find a public place with many different types or people. While you’re doing whatever it is your doing, take a person, a couple, or even groups of people and check out their mannerisms, style, clothes everything and make up stories about them. How long they’ve been a couple, friends. What they do, where they’re from, everything. It’s a bunch of fun and definitely passes the time (just don’t stare too long because you will get some nasty looks). You will be amazed at the things you see if you just pay attention. People get caught up in what’s going on because they try to focus on everything. Take some time and focus on smaller parts of things so you can truly understand what’s going on in the big picture. It’s like knowing that the key turns in the ignition and starts the car. But knowing the different parts of the car and how the key affects them can save you time and money.

Overall Cedar Point was insane. High flying coasters, horrible over priced food, and people watching makes for a great time. I’m in Michigan all day today (Wednesday) and hanging with my boy Vinnie from back in the day. He has the whole day planned and I think there’s something about a zoo and cliff jumping involved who knows but this kid is awesome it should be a blast.

One Mile at a Time.
